Here goes nothin'

I've always kind of thought it was foolish to expect other people to care enough about the thoughts rambling through an individual's head that they should be posted on the internet.  That said, I've noticed that many people have found this to be a useful tool and  use it to convey their thoughts and interests.  I thought I'd give it a whirl, really for curiosity's sake more than anything else.
